Group Launch Announcement & Avatar Fighting Game News

Hello, and welcome everybody to the launch of the unofficial Avatar Legends fan group!

My name is Serdar. You could alternatively refer to me as Kuruk. I'm an Avatar Legends franchise fan just like you!

I created this group today after discovering that the Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game didn't have an official group yet and after realizing that there aren't much active Avatar fan groups on Steam either. The few others I have found after researching seem to have died out in 2013 or 2015 and don't have a lot of members.

In this group, you could discuss and share fan content of the Avatar Legends franchise in: one of our many megathreads in discussions, in a new thread in discussions or on our online chat!

My mission is to create an active environment where you can stay up to date on the Avatar Legends franchise and share your content with others. If you have a significant following of at least 10,000 somewhere, you could even share news and content that you've made yourself on announcements like this! If you're an interested influencer, reach out to us in our chat and we'll promote you to a role with the permission to post announcements!

Another mission I currently have is to reach 50 members. If we do, we'll end up in Steam search results, which will further accelerate the growth of our group.


The upcoming Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, which is set to release later on the 23rd of this month, has entered a closed beta period for preorderers! You can gain closed beta access by preordering the game on PS5, Xbox Series X|S or Steam! According to reports, the closed beta access for preorderers will last until July 06, 2026.

Also, in regards to the same game, the 5 characters to be featured in the Year 1 Pass were announced at EVO France on June 29, 2026. The five characters in the Year 1 Pass are: Bolin, Ty Lee, Lin, Uncle Iroh and a mystery character preorderers will have the ability to vote for out of 5 options. The options are: Tenzin, Kuvira, Amon, King Bumi and Asami. The game developers have not announced when voting will occur nor the when the Year 1 Pass will release. I speculate that voting will likely begin on release day.
