ABOUT Space Engineers Private Server

A private group to organise when the server will be up and events

This is a small private server with a live and let live policy with no huge rules, but to make the experience alittle easier for everyone i will be laying down a couple of ground rules.

1: Stealing from "Comrades Platform" is foribidden. *

This is a community store, i'll allow anybody to take the resources they need, just let me know in advance *

2: Spamming yellow ships is forbidden.

3: Piracy and Looting is allowed, but be nice. **

Your definition of nice may differ from mine. Don't steal from somebody brand new, don't be a total ♥♥♥♥. **

4: Admin rule is final rule.

5: Rules are subject to change

6: While an admin is offline, the Admins equipment is not to be touched unless prior premission has been given

Dedicated Servers!

Now that dedicated servers are around my server will be hosted all the time. I know its not been the most consistant of servers but now it can be. The server will be set to friends only so you won't have people greifing your work.

Hopefully this can become a much more enjoyable game with the dedicated servers.

Within the next couple of days due to exams i'll have it up and running. in the meantime i'll be cleaning up the gamesave and adding a few new asteriod fields about 20,000 - 50,000m away from the original spawn point, so hopefully this will encourage you all to spread your wings and maybe have some friendly trade and fights going on.

Server Changes!

So the server will be experiencing little more downtime than usual as some server side modifications will be put in place.

Cargo ships convoys:

There will be new cargo ships randomly appearing in game from now on, and multiple ships appearing in convoys at the same time. Loot will be much more varied and difficult to secure. Be careful!

Spawn rescue ships:

The spawn ship will be replaced with an escape pod. This is simply because we have a community refinery and assembler and scrapyard populated with far too many rescue ships. The escape pod will include one small thruster and a generator to power it.

I'd love to hear some thoughts about this or suggestions for new changes. I’m also thinking about changing grinding and welding speeds to make building little less painful.
