The server receives automatic updates after new patches come out. If there are any problems, please PM me on the KSH forums so I can log in and attempt to fix it. If I do not receive a message, I will likely not discover the problem until after 5PM PST.

The server has returned to normal operations.

I will be performing a bug test this weekend. If you would like to participate, please IM me to be added to the group. The DS will return to normal on Sunday evening.

The following are the rules of my server:

1. Be respectful to other players.
Do not harass any player verbally or with actions. Targeting another player for harassment or griefing is a bannable offense.

2. No Client/Server Hacking
Hacking is an immediately bannable offense. If you have been banned for this activity, the ban will not be lifted for any reason.

3. PvP Is allowed between factionless people and between consenting factions.
In order to allow people to enjoy the server, PvP will be allowed between those who do not belong to any faction, and to factions that are hostile to each other. This allows lone wolves to fight each other, and for factions to have conflicts that are mutually agreed upon while leaving those who wish to play without worry of being attacked. This also allows players who wish to opt-out of PvP to create neutral factions.

4. Be respectful of other people's creations, property, and space
Don't deliberately destroy or cause to be destroyed other people's and faction's creations. Do not mine from an asteroid that is clearly under the control of another player/faction. Do not "pen" factions and players in with automated defenses. Do not create unauthorized additions to ships or bases. If there is an accident and you destroy part or all of somebody's creation, please contact them and let them know, and attempt to assist the creator with fixing/replacing it if they ask. Do not steal or claim creations or items that are not yours. Legitimate PvP is exempt from this rule.

5. Server administrators' word is law
Textor and his designated representatives have the final say on enforcement of these rules. Rules will be enforced fairly and violations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Case history will be considered by an administrator when dealing with a violation. Hacking violations will result in a ban.
