Sorry guys, I screwed up because I'm a noob. I didn't realize that the Competitive ranks were separate from the regular ranks. I haven't won enough competitive matches to be assigned a rank yet, so I have no idea if I'm a Silver or not. I'll stick around the group if you'll have me, but I might not end up being Silver.
