"Flinches and Boars"

This is the page for SBGF playing DayZ. Read all of this, not doing so will result in you being an idiot and probably us making you ♥♥♥♥ off.

****DayZ is an "alpha release post-apocalyptic zombie survival simulation mod for ARMA 2: CO." What this means is, you do not ♥♥♥♥ around when playing with us. This is one of those things where you don't say "chill out, it's just a game" unless someone is about to lob bricks at cars driving down the street. We take this much more serious than you take Call of Duty, because we invest time into this that keeps gaining value based on the more you have. When you die, the past weeks worth of time investment is gone. Dieing on a 2 week old character in this game is akin to losing about 1 month worth of progress on your average Xbox Live account, and is worth about 10,000,000 deaths on Black Ops.****

Rules:

1. Don't waste your ammo.
2. Claim your shots before or immediately after you fire your gun. Exceptions can be made during firefights.
3. Stick to your assigned position. Exceptions can be made when SHTF (♥♥♥♥ Hits The Fan.)
4. Inform everyone before you stop or leave to go somewhere.
5. Don't complicate anything, from your sentences to our strategy.
6. Stick to the plan. If you wish to do your own thing, then you should ask permission beforehand.
7. Before you join us, you must say "I have a pet goose" to Ozzy over Steam or TeamSpeak. (One time only.)
8. Don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ get lost on a regular basis like Drake does.


TEAMSPEAK MEGA-RULE, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ READ THIS:

Communcation is something that is valued here moreso than anything else (besides Anti-Materiel Rifles.) Bad communcation gets people killed, history has proven this time and time again. This can either mean too much stupid communcation or not enough useful communcation. If you are in a TeamSpeak channel that SBGF is using, you are expected to say things useful to the IMMEDIATE OR NEAR-FUTURE SURVIVAL OF THE GROUP, and barely anything else. Don't tell us you found a Lee Enfield, especially when you're not even with the main group but are trying to meet up with us. Conversely however, if you find a helicopter, that is quite useful to the group and we expect you to say so. Also, keep combat communication short and sweet, "Contact made with a target" is better than "HOLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ GUYS I SEE SOMEONE WITH AN ALICE PACK WHAT SHOULD WE DO???"




Our Squad System: A bunch of loosely associated groups of players who are all friendly towards eachother and play together, thus comprising this group. If you are in Squad A, you are not inclined to only play with Squad A unless you think it fits the situation.
