In the grim dark future, there is only war!

To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be re-learned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods.

This RP will be based beyond the borders of the Imperium of Mankind, in the Koronus Expanse; a place uncharted to all civilised empires. It is in this area of the coldness of the void that Rogue Traders make their mark on the newly written pages of Galactic History. This area of space is vacant of omniscient grasp of the Imperium, and instead is a place without the luxury of such certainty.

Within this setting, the influences of the Imperium are limited, and so are the influences of the other galactic powers. Many minor races occupy this space, unconquered and engaging in their own local conflicts. These situations mean that a crafty individual with an eye for talent can make their own way in the universe.

Crucial RP Information

Year: 101.M42 (During the Late Stages of the Indomitus Crusade)
Faction Availability: To some extent there will be openings for most types of character in this setting; however we'll have to negotiate backstories for more powerful elements like Space Marines and such.
Setting: Obviously, this setting will be in the Koronus Expanse. Set around the Rogue Trader Dynasty of "von Rosenkranz".

NOTE: This is set during the period following the Dark Imperium beginning, with the effects of the Great Rifts and the Blackness still in effect. This means that the Imperium is in massive turmoil, and so will be the expanse to some extent.
