Rodriguez Encounter

This story is about events , which happened after several years before Serious Sam BFE. “Python-63” space station was trying to bring the “Titan” project to life. The aim of it was to found clever creatures in outer space. After two hundred parsecs the expedition found remains of ancient civilizations.
Some of the most interesting fragment were taken on board. Among them was a mysterious mighty artifact.
The base run out of energy , so the crew decided to land on uninhabited satellite of the planet. They started to collect energy using solar batteries. They would be able to go back home after two months , but the artifact began shining and selling signals. One of them was sold to the constellation of the Big Dog.
In a several days unknown objects approaching the base were detected. The base was attacked. A massacre started. After an hour less than a half of the crew was still alive, several hours later the base was under enemies’ control.
At the appointed time the Earth received no signal from the “Python-63” , soon they sent the squad of ten elite-soldiers leaded by Rodriguez to find out what had happened. But only the leader managed to survive…
