ABOUT Regression FM 2.0 Synth Soundfont [Beta Test]

Regression FM Soundfont (FM Synth)

Soundfont Midi Instrument definition file. 12mb uncompressed.
Works with the CoolSynth midi driver.
Put an enhanced FM driver compatible with ALL midi applications on your PC, even works with dos. Brings the sound of SEGA or C-64/NES to your pc windows environment. This project is 10 years running now (almost).
Supports all midi effects such as portamento, sustain, chorus, reverb, Delay-attack-hold-decay-sustain-release is all implimented, in both volume and effects. This soundfont is also TUNED to the approximation of 0.2 to 1 cent.
This is ENTIRELY (or atleast 98%) General midi compatible. Drums and instruments are where they should be - this is made with NO real instruments instead everything is synthesized.

More information to come.

Your real information will never be requested at all and it's just merely for feedback on the prelimanary beta test of this 2.0 version of the soundfont.

Nab the latest version of the Coolsynth midi driver (for x64 or x86) windows systems to run this if your soundcard does not natively support it (creative labs x-fi and below support it). Even if you have Creative labs soundcard please use this driver to run your midi and such for volume-leveling purposes. The creative labs drivers for windows vista, 7, 8.x and such don't support all the midi controllers or effects that this driver does. Occasionally notes may stick while running this driver after some time - i am getting this worked on with the author of the driver, and should have this fixed soon enough. The default note-off panic button is CTRL ALT SPACE. It will not harm your pc.

The soundfont will be uploaded shortly and is at version 1.94/1.95 .

If you are into retro, or you want to make some retro music covers, or a soundtrack with that genuine oldschool sound, or even make pop music, you might be quite interested in this.
