Starting a relatively safe trade route:

Craft/Pick up at Fisdnar
Sell at Mazen (don't craft at Mazen it's expensive just head back to Fisdnar)

Recruit at Jeirbe Castle (anymore than 49 and you start paying upkeep)
Buy Samurai gear from Sengo_Muramasa(Memento Mori) in Fisdnar to equip your soldiers.

Stay out of fiefs (village,castle,town) as much as possible to avoid paying visiting fees you only want to be in them for crafting/selling other than that it's more cost effective to simply camp outside the fief.
