Recon Team BLACKFOOT

(RT) BLACKFOOT is a light-milsim group that intends to “role-play” the life of a MAC-V SOG element conducting operations “across the fence”. Our main goal with this endeavor is to replicate the fieldcraft demonstrated by these incredible warriors as they fought their secret war against the PAVN. We have no desire to hold intense multi-hour long training sessions or provide unique qualifications or pseudo identifiers; we’d rather just replicate -- to the greatest degree possible -- the TTPs of these elite recon teams as they operated in the field.

Missions follow a typical MAC-V SOG RT cycle. The phases will consist of three phases: Planning/Rehearsal/Execution. Some missions will be completed in one week while others might take a few weeks to develop, resulting in the team establishing Rendezvous Overnight (RON) sites which we will kick right off from the following week. The founding members have experience with ArmA and groups dating back to Operation Flashpoint (2001), so the exposure has helped us decide what type of personality & in-game traits our group require.
