Melee Weapons

Hello everyone! I would like to introduce our melee weapon system to you.
This will be pretty simple to use and does not require a lot of math.

This is how it's going to work. Every melee weapon will have a required perception to see if you hit the enemy and deal damage. For this a perception check will be needed.

How we are going to do the perception check.

We are going to roll a 6 sided dice and add that to your perception. So if you roll a 6 and your perception is 5 your total will be 11 (And would be a 100% chance for a hit.)

After you manage to hit your target you will then see how much damage you are going to do. This will be based on your strength. We are going to roll a 6 sided dice, add that to your strength and then multiply it by the base damage of the weapon to see how much damage you are dealing.

Let's take all we learned and apply it to a situation.

You are carrying a combat knife which requires 7 perception and deals 4 damage.

You roll your dice and add your perception. Let's say you rolled a 6 and have 5 perception which is a total of 11, you make the hit.

You then roll for strength, let's say you roll a 6 and plus your 5 which is 11 you then multiply 11 by 4 and do a total of 44 damage to your target.

Seeing how most of the standard human enemies will have about 30-40 health you have managed to kill them buy stabbing them through their throat.

Perk System and choices

Perks will grant you bonuses to your stats!
Some perks are meant for certain classes only!
You can pick a total of 3 perks!

*Gambit: This perk is for the RECON class only. +2 to Stamina when you are below half your total HP.

*Combat High: This perk if for the GUNNER class only. Adds +2 to Perception, Strength, and Stamina while in combat. After combat is over you will suffer -3 to the previous stats for 3 turns.

*Medicinal Aptitude: This perk is for the MEDIC class only. When using any health-regain item it is twice as effective.

*Mechanical Prowess: This perk is for the MECHANIC class only. Allows you to hack machines and robotics without the use of a "Hack tool" +1 to intelligence when hacking.

*Smooth Talker: This perk is for the CON ARTIST class only. +2 to Charisma at all times.

*Explosive Expertise: This perk is for the BOMBER class only. Does not require any stat checks to use any explosives. +1 to strength when throwing explosives.

The following perks can be used by any class.

*Focus: +1 perception when using any weapon with a scope or sight.

*Awareness: +1 perception when you are not in combat.

*Firearms Affinity: +1 strength when using any full automatic gun in combat.

*Fury: +2 to strength when you are below half HP.

*Veteran: +2 to resolve after combat for 5 turns.

*Antomical Knowledge: +2 to strength when attempting any melee attack.

*Regeneration: +1 HP every 3 turns after taking damage and not in combat.

*Revival: Allows you to revvie a fallen comrade. This action takes 4 turns but only 2 if you are a Medic class. You are not allowed to do anything else while reviving a comrade.

*Repair: Allows you to an intelligence check to see if you can fix any guns or equipment.

*Pick Pocket: Allows you to take a Stealth check to see if you can steal from someone.

*Swindle: Allows you to do a Charisma check to see if you can get better deals or lower prices from a vendor.

*Explosive Resisrance: Allows you to take a Vitality check to see if you take less damage from explosive sources.
