Open Rust and do one of the following:

• Search for RUSTCHAN in the modded server list (might take a couple of tries)
  
• Press F1 to open the console and type
  client.connect rustchan.tk:28016

Open the live map with the sidebar link and log into it with steam to track your location. Click the Discord link in the sidebar to join the server.

No rules other than no cheating/hacking obviously. Anything goes in the chat and in game. As long as you're not abusing bugs or third party programs, you are free to do as you like.

These may change in the future. If the community wants a plugin, and if it's reasonable, we might add it. Same goes for removing one. Type /help in-game for more info and commands.

• Start at Level 6 - Code locks and some other things are immediately craftable
  
• 2x Gather Rate - Gathering resources by hand is faster. Quarries/Pump Jacks still 1x
  
• Clans - Get a clan tag and ability to chat with clan members
  
• Private Messaging - Chat with players 1-on-1
  
• Friendly Fire - Can't damage your clan mates by default (can be disabled)
  
• Remove - Use hammer to remove your structures for half their resources
  
• Sign Artist - Use image URLs to create signs

How often does the server wipe?
Once a month, currently. May change if the population changes significantly.

Is this on a dedicated server?
Yes. It's currently hosted in New York. We'll be switching hosts mid September for a better one in Dallas.

Is there VIP and VIP kits/P2W?
No. No, no, no. A thousand times no.

How many player slots?
250

Who is welcome?
Anyone, but the primary audience is obviously imageboards of all kinds.

• barbarian is the server admin, is easiest to contact on Steam and he has a bright yellow name in Discord.
  
• There are a few server mods; they have blue names in Discord and are easiest to contact there.
