Server Synopsis

Rustipelago is a fresh Rust current server (experimental) within the UK & EU. The server has a standard map size of 4000m.

The Rustipelago server welcomes friendly visitors and competitors, but outright abusive comments, racism and cheating will not be tolerated.

For the server map, view the pinned topic in general discussions. Feel free at make suggestions on map size, seeds, events etc in the forum.

Primary language is English, although no restrictions on other languages.

New update is here! This week includes a mandatory wipe as well. Carrying over from the previous week, this update brings on more features than expected. Everyone should be able to keep their blueprints. Here's a quick run-down on what to expect:

- Player movement fixes
- Adjustments to settings F2 menu
- Crafting menu revised
- New miner's hat
- Build menu upgraded to show costs, UI now in red and white
- Auto voice function
- Turn off nametags option available in Tweaks menu.
- Added map search to server browser.
- New ammo types
- Adjustments to rendering and filtering
- Adjustments to atmosphere and lighting effects
- Ladder now has animations
- New scrap searchlight
- New radtown
- Item pickups - it's possible to find stones, ore and wood scattered on map
- Spears are now throwable
- Arrows now stick into objects
- Grass displaces as you travel over it
- Building shell - attacking the outside does less damage compared to attacking the inside
- PVE mode (Rustipelago shall remain PVP, for now at least)
- New roads, rivers, biome visuals
- New wolf headdress

Just a heads up, the map seed and size has changed a little. It's now 6km and the seed is 245844. We decided to do this as we wanted a map that more relfected an archipelago, much like the server name. I do think in future we wont be going any higher than 6km though. The Server map shall also be updated in the links on the right :)

Server connection/speed seems to be really good! Ive tested several other servers lately that do not seem to be as good of a connection at all! If any has some friends that also play Rust, then please feel free to invite them over to stay and have a good time!

Hi there, the server was just updated following the latest hotfix, it should be running now! Good to see you Gigga :) Most people here seem to be friendly enough.

Are there any admins about? It seems that going offline and coming back has given me the 'Wrong Connection Protocol' error. It seems there may have been a small update recently as I am playing on a more recent version of '609028' than the server - possible on '608182'
