welcome we used to play rust now we play ROK and have a Reign of kings server

RULES:
Admins are not Gods they have rules to obey to
any admin found abusing these rules will be delt with
if you have evidance of an admin abusing his rights
plz report it we WILL deal with it

USEFUL ABBREVIATIONS:

OOC = Out of character
KOS = Kill on sight
IC = In Character

BASIC RULES OF CONDUCT:
- No disrespectful language or behaviour to players or staff.
- No discrimination, of any kind.
- Not knowing the rules is not a reason to break them. If you are unsure of any of the rules always contact a staff member.
- Any kind of erotic role-play is not wanted on this server and should not be performed.
- No griefing of people's bases i.e destroying crests attacking their base without an RP reason is against the rules of conduct.
- Honesty of players when questioned by admins is VERY important.

THE KOS RULE:
-The KOS (Kill on Sight) rule is probably one of the most important rules we hold on our server as it disrupts role play and creates a lot of problems for players on the server. This being said any violations of this rule will most likely always result in a ban.

Killing in self defense:
- Someone has made a threat on your life.
- Someone has caused you damage or harm.
- Restricts your freedoms with noticeable actions i.e roping
- Someone who steals from you (or attempts)
- If you stumble upon a hostile situation you have the choice whether to begin fighting but you must make it known to the people who are in the participating in the hostile interaction, that you are going to attack them.

When you are not allowed to kill people:
- When they are AFK
- People who don't pose an immediate threat to your characters' life.
- People who surrender for the first time when you ask them to. If they run after surrendering for the first time a kill-right is earned. (so you can kill)
-Killing people who are not logged into the server (sleepers) is not allowed.

Revenge Kills:
- They have robbed you
- Killed a member of your guild and you were a witness.
- A situation where the player has held you captive or a slave.
- The person who put a bounty on your head can be killed for doing so.
(The revenge kill right is only valid for 12 hours)

NEW LIFE RULE (NLR):
-The new life rule applies to players who have been killed in a situation which was deemed a non KOS. For example in a war with a rival guild if a player dies the NLR rule would mean the player will forget all events leading up to their death.
-The NLR also prevents the player from returning to the scene of their death for at least 15 minutes. If you died in your home you must spawn at the beach.
-Please note if you die by mistake ie bear kills or wolves NLR is still active but you may go back and get your stuff if someone hasnt taken it already

Rules of a Robbery:
- Make sure your victim knows they are being robbed. (tell them in VOIP)
- Give them a countdown of at least 10 seconds before tying them up.
- If they flee after you've told them you are robbing them and do not surrender a kill right is earned. Revenge KR is earned.
- If you do manage to take someone captive it is down to you to make sure they do not die in your captivity. So make sure they are fed and watered if a prisoner dies this can go down as a KOS.
- Random roping is against the rules. You must RP in a robbery and the victim MUST be aware.

RULES OF WAR:

War can be realy good fun and we want you to enjoy however this can go down the drain in the heat of battle so make sure an admin is present so that
both sides have a impartial judge

WAR DECS
or war declerations are made by both leaders being online and talking
idealy face to face

reasons for war must be given and they must be valid RP reasons
no he robed me or he called me a name

a few reasons for war
the guild has been aggresive to yours a few times youve asked them to stop but they havnt

the kings taxes are to high (anything 5% or below we think is fine)

the king and his men are bullies trying to force the realm to give items to him for free

there are many other reasons but this is a guidline of what is good RP

when you have declared war its active no we will war in 12 hours
you must start attacking with in 10 mins of war dec

if there is no admin on then you may still war but plz record the war incase
the other side complains we will be there as much as possible

the war ends when all defending players are dead remember the NLR rule
however if after 15 mins you can get back to your base its considered
ok to rejoin the fight IF there is at least one member of you guild/alliance still alive who knows whats happening
