Before getting into what RAOS is and what we're about; a quick address to the survivors of our celebratory 5th year corporate down-sizing: I want to assure that the cuts were absolutely necessary for the organization to survive as a whole, while those in charge continued to draw no salary whatsoever for our endeavours. Congratulations on not being voted off the island, not sucking, and generally being awesome! Moving on!

RAOS was originally the brain-baby of one near perfect genius, Mr. Sawyer, who is known for having only ever made 2 mistakes in his entire life up to this point:

1. Being born without any familial relation to the great fictional character, Tom Sawyer.
2. Handing administrative power of the group over to me, so that he can take a back seat and run things from behind the curtain when necessary.

Now, Mr. Sawyer had reason(s) for naming us Random Acts of Stupidity, but, as with everything else he does, I have no idea what they were. While I could ask him right now, I won't because I came prepared with my own origin story:

One night, while watching a movie at the theater, a great existentialist philosopher told Mr. Sawyer, "It's not who I am, but what I do, that defines me." And that was the only thing that stuck with Mr. Sawyer as he left the theater. As he reflected on the actions of his colleagues and himself, it became apparent that collectively, they were defined by and as Random Acts of Stupidity!

P.S.
We're a 5 year-old gaming clan about hanging out and having a great time, whether that is cooperative/competitive gaming with each other or just shooting the breeze on voice chat while we all do our own thing. The games we play change depending on what we find interesting, but we try to emphasize quality games that are free to play or available for cheap, so that everyone in the clan can participate.

We are invite only because we only want members who are fun to hang out with and willing to invest time in the clan. We want members who will take the initiative to suggest games for the clan to play and even setup/schedule events.

We have a voice/chat channel on Razer Comms and a Facebook page, both listed as "RAOS".

Several of our members have recently started streaming their gaming sessions and we are encouraging all of our members to look into Twitch and see if they would be interested in setting up their own channel.
