Welcome, fellow atheists.

Atheism is the result of the enlightenment that comes with being an educated person. You can try to convince theists of the folly of what they're believing but the truth of the matter is they're not educated enough in science to have the arguments that we try to make to them shake a belief they've been told is so vital to who they are. Ideally everyone should be an atheist. I know this is the kind of comment that circle jerks are made of but I honestly believe that. If we all were atheists I think we would see awesome science progress and sociological phenomena would disappear some. But I don't wish for them to just be atheists, I want them to choose to be atheists because that's what logic and information point to and they truly see that. I want them to have the evidence and make conclusions by themselves, actually cognitively understanding it, not just doing the school-system version of learning where you're told things to remember and never put the pieces together.
