Who are we:

The Permadeath Council is a group of people who...

- Enjoy playing and reviewing mostly Rogue-like / Rogue-lites / TD's / Survivals / Metroidvania's and general pixel mayhem games both early access and gold, giving advice, and purchase suggestions as well as doing let's plays on games both old and new.

For fans and lovers of all Survival / Rogue-Like / Rogue-Lites / Tower Defense / Metroidvanias and all other subsets of brutally hard yet rewarding games that keep you coming back for more punishment and rage quitting with permadeath or insane difficulty by default.

Please join and just start conversations about the games that make up this lovely slice of life (or death) and make new friends or find people to not starve with.

Well, I have been wanting to do this for a long time now,
so begins the journey with one digital footprint left in the pixel dust.

Those who know me should know my fondness for brutally difficult games that become endless attempts of punching my keyboard trying to even see the nuclear throne or defeating the flagships of FTL and exploding because a haul breach wasnt repaired while some slug person was molesting my thruster box destroying my engine room.

I digress.
Hopefully this is the beginning of great thing, I really want to see where this takes me and everyone who joins. Hopefully build a community and really contribute something back to the games I love so much.

Like minded people very nice! I see some of you have already listed some of my goto Rogue-Lites.. Let me add Legend of Dungeon, Diehard Dungeon and Rampage Knights. I'll backup that these are fantastic Delver. Heavy Bullets, Tower of Guns, Ziggurat and Paranautical Activity. Good but I need to spend more time with are Death Skid Marks, Convoy and Monstrum. I have recently been playing TowerClimb. Still in Early Access but very Promising are... Catacomb Kids and Dungeon Souls.

I suggest you some games, i don't know if they're all ok to add : Delver, Tome, Project Zomboid (GREAT game), Hand of Fate, Sword of the stars: The pit

I'll point out some missing games when I can think of any.

On that note the FPS roguelites probably deserve a spot on there too: Heavy Bullets, Tower of Guns, Ziggurat, and Paranautical Activity
