ABOUT ProjectSWG Official

The Official ProjectSWG Steam Group

ProjectSWG is the first NGE/CU emulator for Star Wars Galaxies (SWG). We were founded on July 7th, 2011 after Sony Online Entertainment officially announced the closing of the game. Our goal is to create an emulator which will provide a server for players to continue playing a game similar to the one they used to play. ProjectSWG is being based off of the final publish of the game before it closed.

This Steam group will be used to announce/remind of events, provide an area of discussion for the players of the Project and allow the staff another way to communicate with our wonderful community.

Greetings to everyone whom still remains within our Steam Group! A lot has changed over the years with Project SWG as time marched on, and as of now we are directing our current focus on the Combat Upgrade era of Star Wars Galaxies! We are currently working on getting the launcher up and operational so that we can have a Test Center up for those interested in trying out the ongoing development of the Combat Upgrade.

If you want more information on updates that we post for the Project, follow us on Twitter and Facebook where we usually post any progress that is made. We also post updates on the SWG Reddit Page as well, so feel free to check out any of the social platforms for anything we may post.

Welcome, everyone!

After a month or so, we are now fully prepared to begin utilizing the Steam group to get announcements and other things to you. We apologize for the extremely long delay and appreciate you all sticking around as we got things kicked off behind-the-scenes.

We look forward to seeing what comes of this group!

Sorry für die späte Antwort von der PSWG-Gruppe. Ich kann die Konten von der Hauptwebseite aus aufheben, die Kontonamen angeben und sie auf einer Whitelist zusammenführen. Nochmals, Entschuldigung wegen der mehrmonatigen verzögerten Antwort.

I have this game on disc, but every time I try and install I get a BEX error. I would like to play the game, I even have an unused trial code for it (sigh...), and I regret not thinking of playing it until after it has died.

Hi guys! I use steam a lot too to play games, I even run Project SWG through it, can't wait to see more stuff added. I may have only played the Trial but I was enjoying it until my friend abandoned me on it.
