Welcome dear reader. If you are reading this, then you are reading the put-together chronicles of our beloved kingdom of Orthema. You can find different sections, depending on what kind of information you are looking for.

RULES

THIS IS AN ANTI-GRIEF SERVER

Build where you want. If you're within full view of a kingdom you may be too close. If you build within a kingdom's territory you may be subject to PVP.
Do NOT destroy or loot any doors or structures unless you are at war with them.
Do NOT dig under any walls or structures for any reason at all.
Do NOT build on other players structures to climb buildings or block access.
You can loot any chests that are out in the open or not protected by a door.
Situational PVP is allowed through Declaration of war between kingdoms or if you find an uninvited guest within your land. Also encouraged to Kill and report anyone breaking the rules.
If you claimed a Banner and Registered it with the Admin you may destroy and loot any other structure with that banner even without declaring war.
Forest is a precious commodity chop sparingly and trade when possible.

Anyone that doesn't comply with these rules will be banned from the public server.

CLAIM YOUR LAND AND BANNER

Start your House (h). Create a name worthy of your Kingdom.
Your House is required to have at least 3 members to start a kingdom.
Build a small town with at least 3 houses (standard 3 by 4 Blocks) or Fort/Castle.
Select an Unused Banner and register it with the Admin.
Claim your land. Using walls and Banners you can claim a reasonable amount of land. Only as much as you plan on building on.
You may not Claim any large amount of Forest. The forest is a nonrenewable resource and must be kept available.

If anyone owns the land or banner you want you may declare war on them and fight for ownership.

RULES OF WAR

To Declare War on another Kingdom

Must Leader of a Kingdom.
At Least, One of the Enemy Kingdom must be Online and Active.
Make SURE Admin and Other Kingdom is Aware of the Declaration BEFORE fighting starts.
At least ONE member of BOTH Kingdoms must be online during any fighting.

During war you CAN:
- Use Siege Weapons to Destroy Enemy Structures.
- Kill any Enemy Players.
- Create Mobile Siege Towers to Climb Enemy Obstacles.
- Loot Enemy Chests.
- Destroy Enemy Siege Weapons.
- Destroy Doors with a Weapon.
At ANY TIME you CAN'T:
- Build on other players Structures to climb buildings or block access. Ex: build ramps on their walls.
- Dig under walls or structures for any reason.

We regret to inform you that the Medieval Engineers server is closed.

Among other things this is due to the fact that it seems every update lately introduces more bugs then it fixes and im having a hard time keeping up. and now it seems Keen wont be fixing the major issues untill planets is launched. I myself have been spending 18 hours a day just trying to maintain the server and I no longer find enjoyment in doing so.
