Old nerds

A person who is fixated on one task and neglects other activities. For example, a nerd might devote all their time to studying or playing a computer game, forgetting even to take a walk or wash. Another term for nerds is someone who spends a lot of time on the computer. A nerd is someone who plays a lot.
