teamOPP || was group of friends who grew up together in the same Philadelphia Neighborhood of Frankford. Orginally we all played Starsiege Tribes competitively while dabbling in CS beta 4 in 1999 for change of pace.

Eventually dabbling in CS became predominately playing CS with the whittling popularity of Starsiege Tribes.

Solace moved out of Philadelphia, but still lived in Pennsylvania so we renamed the team to
"Only Pennsylvania Players"

Eventually we found some guys who fit really well that lived in New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio and Mississippi resulting in the final name of
"Only the Proud Prevail"
even though Oogly Poogly Poo was a strong runner up!! (lect0r's suggestion)

After the core players dominated OGL for some time, we moved our focus to the new competition ladder of CAL.

We had a strong CAL-O season which resulted in a promotion to CAL-IM

Started CAL-IM just as dominant as we did in CAL-O looking like moving up to CAL-M was a definate. Life changes of Solace joining the Marines, lect0r working 90hr weeks and just general life responsibilties getting in the way, we never finished the CAL-IM season.

Now some of us play CS:GO together for fun
