For all fans of this game is a must for all fans of this game:
Turns out there is a mod for this game that brings back a whole bunch of cut content. Unfortunately, it only applies to the warrior campaign. Still.
Here's the link:
https://mod.io/g/nox/m/na1015624/#292761
I am not the author and in no way involved in the creation of the mod, just thought I'd share.
Good luck!
:jss:👍🏼

Back in the day when co-op meant more than 4-players.

Is there any chance that nox will be available on steam?

Darkfrei, раньше точно было можно купить в Ориджине. Как сейчас - не знаю
Damaskox 22 Aug, 2021 @ 4:25am
@darkfrei I bet it is! (I'm on the phone now) Google the game. It could be at least still in GOG.
darkfrei 1 Nov, 2017 @ 12:08pm
I want to buy NOX, is it possible?
ScreaM 26 Aug, 2017 @ 9:31am
This game is the GEM that stands out from my childhood. Amazing game that will never get old.
{OGR}Jaybird5678 21 Jun, 2017 @ 4:38pm
i remember playing this for a while when i got on origin and ever since then i foolishly deleted it with origin and i never got the files back but i have to say this was problably one of my favorite isometric rpgs. id compare it to the likes of fallout 1 and 2, and i really like knowing that it still has a fanbase after all these years

Thought I'd share some useful websites with you all.

First off, there's a website called noxforum.net which has been around for years now. It has many resources available for the game, from the game itself, patches, map downloads, trainers, hackers, files for setting up multiplayer, map editor, as well as thousands of forum posts containing tons of information about the game from long time players, some of whom are very knowledgeable.

There's another website called noxcommunity.com , this website is a bit newer and as such contains less useful stuff than noxforum.net , but in recent months is much more active by the mods and creator than over at noxxforum.net , so it's definitely worth checking out.

Be warned, noxforum.net has some....shall we say...rude users on it sometimes, so if your asking for help there, you may get an unsavoury reply from some jackass. Ignore them and just use the info posted there to the best of your ability.

Sup peepz! Longtime Noxer here, been playing on and off for 16 years. This is easily my all-time favorite game, and one of the most under rated games ever. Anyways if anyone wants to chat about Nox sometime, or better yet get together for some game time leave me a message here on steam!

Lol no biggie, I found Nox quests, somewhere, eventually, I think it was from that site aswell, but thanks anyway xD

@hexaae:
Thanks for sharing, mate! I'm not on Windows 10 yet myself, but I'm sure others are. Goo dto hear it can be played still :o)
hexaae 31 May, 2016 @ 12:35pm
How to make it run on Windows 10 (and modern Windows systems in general), without 3rd party software and wrappers: https://www.gog.com/forum/nox/real_fixes_for_nox/page1 :steamhappy:
Vermilicious 31 May, 2016 @ 12:34pm
@GioGio:
Yeah, it's surely an underappriciated game. I also got immidiately hooked by some smaller details, such as breakable objects and hidden areas. I also really liked the sparkle effect on the mouse pointer in the main menu :o)
Vermilicious 31 May, 2016 @ 12:32pm
@Fiery Deceiver:
I realize this is terribly late, but I'm sure a google search can lead you to the patches. Noxforum.net is probably also a good place to look. Could this be what you're after?

I bought Nox on gog.com , but it doesn't have Nox quest, anyone know where I can download this or buy this or whatsoever?
Hooded Figure 25 Jun, 2015 @ 8:02pm
I just can't forget the very mysterious and dark main menu of Nox, this game will always be remembered, it's one of my greatest RPG games ever. The realistic-like graphics, the gameplay and the areas, it just shows how magnificent this game is.
GameHobo 3 Jun, 2015 @ 7:21pm
I am wondering if the OS X version has online play. Anyone know? I couldn't seem to get it going. Anyone else have any luck?
Madsy 3 Nov, 2014 @ 12:32pm
Jegar: You can play Nox in Windows Vista/7/8/8.1 as well. Just buy a DRM-free version from GoG [www.gog.com] and install the latest version of Westwood Online from NoxForums.net (exe Windows-installer) [www.noxhub.net]

The GoG version of Nox is already patched to v2.1 (the quest mode patch). With Nox and WOL installed, you can play multipler online as XWIS.net took over the WOL servers after Westwood was closed :-)
When Nox asks you for a login, I think you can make up a username and password as the account registration doesn't work anymore.
Jegar 3 Nov, 2014 @ 9:59am
I'm glad some people here are still remember this irreplaceable game. I'm 21 now, if I'm not mistaken I played it when I was 9 years old. That time, NoX is one of my favorite games besides of some Emulators Games ( My sisters are afraid too see me playing NoX because they think it's scary. ) Sometimes when I backed home from university sembreak, I open my old desktop, tears come out from my heart when I see the NoX icon. :claugh:
Madsy 2 Nov, 2014 @ 12:02pm
Let me know if someone wants to play Nox quest-mode some time.
Sulman 1 Nov, 2014 @ 11:24pm
I miss this game so much. My cousin and I would play when we were younger. It was such a good game and when I watch videos of it now I still think it stands the test of time and it's still graphically, gameplay wise and everything, a solid game! Don't know why EA just destroyed this franchise....everyone just had to pay Blizzard in the end, I guess...
IllidanS4 18 Jul, 2014 @ 4:26pm
There is an active dedicated NoX forum at http://forum.noxcommunity.com/ , come, join, and play!
ArcAngel015 5 Jul, 2014 @ 2:14pm
Nox is my absolute favorite RPG of all time. I have build minecraft levels around it for my friends to adventure through.
I would gladly pay $20 for a steam powered Nox and $50-$60 for a true Nox 2.

If anyone has ideas/ways to get EA to work with Steam to make that happen, I'm all aboard.
Brent 23 Jun, 2014 @ 6:34pm
Absolutely fantastic game. On my.... I think 6th Wizard run now, and just got through Dun Mir in a way I've never done before. I never got into direct combat with a single enemy, but still managed to kill most of the guards. Trigger Trap confirmed best spell.

Also, a Nox 2 would be the best thing. Ever.
This game and Magic and Mayhem made up the majority of my PC gaming roots.
HavocX 24 May, 2014 @ 12:14am
Nox, good old days. Bring the game back.
LgE 12 Apr, 2014 @ 4:05am
it will be awesome to be a new game Nox 2 modern look and some upgrade story multiplayer...and for linux developed!
Vermilicious 14 Aug, 2013 @ 9:33am
@Pouncer: Good to see another Nox fan :o)
Rustman 14 Aug, 2013 @ 9:16am
Hey all, I found this page when I was looking for a place to download my beloved good old NoX. I played it 10-11 years ago on an old ass computer, and then i downloaded it on a lap-top 2 years ago. Unfortunately the lap-top eventually died, and I am in this moment downloading again.
Vermilicious 24 Apr, 2013 @ 11:51am
Howdy. I haven't played it nearly that much, but I've also loved it since I got my hands on it back in 2000 :)
hammeri 24 Apr, 2013 @ 11:41am
It is great to find other fans of this game. I've loved it ever since it was released. Have finished it atleast a dozen times.
