Bridging the gap between the Vidya and the Pen & Paper

This is /v/'s steam group for those interested in playing and wanting to get into tabletop gaming. Although while we started from /v/, we're also made up of /tg/, /a/ and /co/ among others.

The goal of this group is to provide a helping hand for players to connect and form groups and to learn how to play tabletop RPGs.

To this end, below are some tools that players and game masters can use to form a group.

KEEP IN MIND however, these aids are here to help *you* form groups. Simply turning in your Information Template won't guarantee you will get into a game. View who is available when and see about meeting up with them and forming a group of your own. See if you share similar interests. And if you're thinking about being a GM there's no better time than the present. Everyone starts somewhere. Try and stay active in the group; those active members generally find themselves more opportunities to join a game.

By filling out that template and emailing it to interested GMs or coordinators it will give them a baseline about you and your playstyle.

This sheet I recommend all members to view, as perhaps you'll see some games you've never heard of and decide you're interested in them.

This google calendar auto-aligns itself to your time zone, so you can see when people have stated they're available. Go to the top and hit Week for a better view. Consider this to be just a sample of what scheduling can be done, as this exact calander is rather old If you're on it and would like your time changed, contact St_Nick or Kanojo "Black 啊 Rock" Nacho.
