  • Game 1 vs THD (The House is Down)
    ----------------------------------------------------------

    Draft - 2nd pick[i.imgur.com]
    Bans[i.imgur.com]

    Draft
I don't get the Drow ban. And they obviously didn't know the Goblak draft. They didn't seem to know what they were doing.

I think our bans are spot on up to the fourth. Seeing as we went Jakiro, the Tide ban is questionable. Razor might have been a better ban. As he is hard to kill with our line-up. And they could have ran an agro trilane with pa/lich/sky and have Furion TP in when needed.

    0:00 - 2:00
This is where we ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the most. I'll take responsibility as my early game still needs some work. But their duo lane Lich + OD should have been punished heavily.

    Exhibit A[i.imgur.com]

If we got a kill on Lich, and even just Mag + SB could have done it, it would have really opened up the game for us with the slight XP gain. I could transition top and duo lane with Bat, forcing Lich to rotate top to secure PA farm. Jakiro and I could then gank mid while stacking the jungle for Bat.

Furion was really a non-factor this game. He is useless in fights unless he gets an Orchid, and he gets boned every time he split pushes. His starting items were gloves of haste + 2 clarities. After one level Medusa can completely deny Furion farm just by herself.

We should also make sure to deward bottom rune, so midlane won't be so aggressive for them. And it won't be so obvious when we smoke mid.

    3:00+
At around the 3rd minute we decide to help top, which was a good idea just a little late. Jakiro also came which I think was a mistake, as he's better off pulling, stacking, and taking down bot tower once he's lvl 3 with a 0/1/2 build.

Overall, there's not much more to say. they weren't that good players. We just gave them more than we should early game.

  • Game 2 vs JUSTICE (The Better JUSTICE League)
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Draft - 2nd pick[i.imgur.com]
    Bans[i.imgur.com]

    Draft and game
We started out wanting an Omni offlane, but the SD + Mirana combo would have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that. Nonetheless, Bat and Doom are still legit bans for our lineup.

They first picked Mirana, and I think Enigma was a great pick here. First of all, they either commit on shutting me down, or they commit on you. One of us is going to get free farm. Second, shutting me down is really hard,

    Nice arrow bro[i.imgur.com]

By this time Sky and I already got a kill mid with a pro smoke gank.

Special mention to this observer ward, nice rotations JUSTICE![i.imgur.com]

Overall their draft was wonky. All we had to do was not lose early game and proceed to win the game. Even if they win early game we can turtle all day with Enigma and Tide.

What we could have done better is pick Clinkz last instead of PA. Have Tide + Sky sit top while Clinkz free farms bottom. While they can shut down Clinkz, he is a hero that catches up really fast, especially given our line-up. It also fits better with the Lycan split push and can just wreck their whole team with his ult HP and burst damage.

For future games, I will consider rushing Medallion on Enigma. PA and I failed a rosh attempt but we could have easily done it if I didn't ♥♥♥♥ it up.Eidolons didn't split in time Volvo pls.

  • Game 3 vs JUSTICE (The Justice League)
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

    Draft - 1st pick[i.imgur.com]
    Bans[i.imgur.com]

    Draft
This game we wanted Drow + Visage. I banned Centaur because D+V line-ups tend to be squishy and lack disable. I banned Void for the same reason, though he tends to be denied hard as an offlaner, but is pretty good as a carry.

After seeing their Lesh + Ogre opening, I was expecting them to go some high movement speed carry that can mow us down. Someone like Jugg who gives no ♥♥♥♥♥. I didn't want to force a Drow pick in case they wanted to agro tri. In hindsight I think a Drow pick works even with a bad start. There's this one game where SNA ran D+V and their Drow was 0/12 but they won regardless.

    Midlane
Given our line-up, we should have had wards/sentries midlane until around 10 minute mark. It would have given Ember a better start and we wouldn't have to sacrifice anything for that.

    Sven's blink
Seeing as Sven had only treads at 9 minutes, Bat should have warned us that he might be going blink. His rotation to midlane would have been obvious and Ember's death could have been prevented.

Bat also tp'd mid to help the already dead Ember. If he had stayed bottom he could have farmed two waves + their jungle bringing him ~800g away from blink. But he got initiated on and died as well.

    Just something to consider.

    Rotation with blink[i.imgur.com]

    10min convincing team wipe

    Dire jungle[i.imgur.com]

Tide had already ravaged and I had my Black Hole still available + we were all pretty healthy hp and mana-wise. We rotated mid in a failed attempt to get the tower, when we could have secured Ember an aegis.

There's probably a lot more things to be said about the games but right now our focus should be on the first 10 minutes and getting that down as well as we can.
