ABOUT Nexus Union

Fortune Favors The Bold!

The Nexus Union is a friendly independent player group that trains and helps other commander’s in the game, to learn the ins and outs of being a pilot in the Elite Dangerous Universe. We take new, and old pilots, under our wings and help them become a formidable pilot to be reckoned with.

We do this by providing training camps (open to all pilots) to teach new skills, as well as refining old ones. We provide training scenarios for all kinds of situations such as.

Combat, evasion, smuggling, trading and mining. We also provide speciality courses, reserved for the more delicate of situations.

Our goal is to work with pilots and other player groups to provide a unique player experience and to change the perceived definition of what PvP means.

The Nexus Union is open to all kinds of pilots, ships, and play styles. We have no allegiances to the major powers; however, your commander can have whichever they choose. We do not require membership to participate in any of our activities. But by joining our group, it shows that you are looking to learn new skills and share those abilities with the rest of the Universe. Also, for those within our group, will be helped to achieve Elite status quickly.

We decided to dedicate our time on elite by helping new and experienced players alike across PC, Xbox and PS4 We aim to further advance the game play of elite, Of course everyone is welcome in the club,

But a set of rules will be enforced In private group, immediate cease fire in Private groups if aligned to any powerplay factions,

Promoting information to a nexus of players across the galaxy Imperial,Independent,Federation.

The Nexus Union will be a joint effort among the superpowers to proactively influence key systems into states of better nature or wsr depending on the situation.

Operation Bumper Sticker

On September 26th 3303, multiple Nexus Union commanders were called upon to investigate an unsubstantiated rumor of possible alien activity in a distant system far from the safety of Nexus Union space. With very little information to go on, some calling this a suicide mission,  Nexus Union pilots stepped up and volunteered to investigate these rumors.  From Combat Pilots to Exploration Scientists, small fighter class vessels to light warship’s, they set out undaunted by the unknown that faced them in a dark far away nebula.

    Once contact had been made, the rumors were quickly validated. The Thargoids were real, very very real. It was quickly discovered that our current weapons were no match for this new adversary.  The Nexus Union lost many a ship that day, but eventually, we scored a kill after a very hard pressed battle with a fair side of luck.

For the rest of the bubble, the scramble was on.  How could we defeat such an advanced adversary?  Governments, Scientist’s, Military’s even Corporation’s began testing, building and releasing new technology to counter this new threat to Humanity.   

Community Goals were announced for the gathering of info and materials to help in the creation of weapons to fight this new menace, the Thargoids. But like most things human, interest has waned. Community Goals are barely being completed. The new weapons needed to protect lives and homes are in danger of not being available to those brave and daring combat pilots that wish to face this new threat head on.

That is why the Nexus Union has officially announced its support of the Aegis campaign.  The Nexus Union not only calls on its own pilots to help complete each new community goal, but all able bodied pilots to help deliver the materials needed to create each new Ax-weapon.

Lend your support by pushing all Aegis CGs and/or running security in its related systems to allow a smooth tier 8 completion.

Any Nexus members looking to advance themselves and gain the rank of "Pilot" within the union, read on..

Head over to the Acurus System and get yourself Allied with the Nexus Union player faction, once you reach this level of reputation take a screenshot and send said screen to [XB] Dpty. Cmdr Wolfe3 Via discord, he will then advance you to the rank of Pilot within our INARA roster and your journey within the Nexus Union can truly begin.
