As we all know when people see the ability to make lots of money most get greedy. And as such they make a lot of bad choices, here are some of those bad choices as they pertain to MW2 (PC version, console users are used to being ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over):




o No dedicated servers

o No console

o No lean

o No ability to kick players in ranked matches

o No /record feature

o Reduced max game size to 9v9 (from 32v32)

o Game ending kill streak weapon at 25 kills

o Introduction of death streaks


The removal of dedicated servers/console completley kills any type of professional league or mods for the game. With the only advantage gained from this (as seen from the developers' view) being that you are able to shut down your matchmaking system when the game gets "too old" or in other words when the next game comes out.

And greedy gaming companies even gives us all of this for free!... well not really. We get to pay more than the standard cost of a game. But what did you expect with a publisher that sells you plastic instruments to use with your 12th game with the same exact feature set.
