Military Simulation (Milsim) Unit

The Uninvited is a group of like-minded individuals who gather together to play games (primarily Arma 3) in a simulation-like environment.

New members are welcome, and we're always looking for those new paces to join our ranks. Please feel free to join / contact us if your interested in this type of gameplay.

What is a "Milsim" group and how is it different from other styles of play? Those in milsim units pride themselves on being more organized, structured, and tactical. Taking the game "seriously" ,to some degree, and modeling their gameplay off real life military tactics.

What should you expect from most milsim units, and what would they expect from you?

1. You should expect a fun environment, but more mature than most servers you would normally play on

2. You should expect some level of training. Most milsim units use specific mods and tactics which do take some time to learn. This could be anything from a few minutes to a few hours of training time.

3. You should expect some sort of a ranking system, and your level of respect to somewhat depend on those ranks.

4. You will be expected to follow your commanders instructions while in a mission

5. You should expect some sort of a "review" of your performance and attendance to dictate promotions within the unit

6. You should expect more responsibilities planning a mission, and commanding once deployed, when promoted

7. You'll be expected to use approved loadouts and mods within a mission (including uniform) this is to allow better coordination and mission design

8. You should expect to make friends in the unit that you'll end up playing other games with for a long time (not required but tends to happen) :)

A milsim unit is not for EVERYONE, and if you'd rather run around with your sniper rifle, ghilli suit, and stinger, then were not for you.
