Jack in! MegaMan.exe, transmit! Execute!

I'm not the only person who knows Battle Network!
Mega Man Battle Network is an awesome series of games in the Mega Man franchise. While being one of the spin-offs (or "side-series'" as I like to call them), Battle Network lasted six main titles and, to me at least, it's pretty clear why. The games, while featuring an Element system, Robot Masters, and characters from the Classic games (though a bit redesigned), also go for an interesting mix between RPG and Mega Man. You collect a bunch of BattleChips (basically, attacks) and use them on your opponents in a way that almost becomes like chess. (StepSword, will you marry me?)
To describe the battle system further is a bit nuts. Basically, it has all your Mega Man action (apart from the jumping) on a 3x6 grid, and it's just a ton of fun. There is some randomness involved, but the implementation of said randomness is way more forgivable than the way the Classic games handle it.
I definitely reccommend trying out games 3 and 6, they will not disappoint.
