ok this one is....... interesting
theres some major changes here

first:
everyone now starts the game with 30 upgrade points. positive in my opinion, as it decreases the huge boost you get from an early start, making the rest of the game more evenly matched.

second:
there is now a MINIMUM ENERGY REQUIREMENT FOR BLOWING UP.
let that sink in. ok
the minimum increases as you accumulate more points. in my test game, i had a 2 minimum at the start of the game, 14 by the time i had about 250 points.
this will be interesting, whether its positive well just have to wait and see.
if you try to blow up without the minimum amount, you'll get an error sound and message, while your readout (the robot in the upper right corner) will flash red.
for this one, i would at least like the option to turn it off, seeing as it changes the game so drastically.

third:
the death screen is now flashy, with a silver/gold medallion replacing the old upgrade button. handy for new players, as it really draws your attention

the ranking system has not yet been fixed, so that sucks. there do seem to be some new sound effects, but im not completely sure.
that's all the changes i've found, but there may be more i haven't noticed. I checked the site, but no posts yet.
