Steam Group Closing

G'day ladies and gents.

This announcement is to let everyone know im bringing this steam group to a close. When I created it in 2015 I honestly didn’t have a huge amount of usage for it outside of organizing events and dfinding people to enjoy the games we all love with.

Since then it has been left and forgotten for the most part with programs such as Discord doing a far better job at such things, also my channel has also changed expanding beyond its original scope to include a wider variety of games.

Now at the end of 2017 I now have a usage for a steam group, I have found myself less than pleased with Steams tagging of gaming and simulation titles (seriously go search simulation on steam and see what comes up) along with finding limited representation for such titles among the current curators. As such I intent to become a curator myself, my goal will be to hunt down the best combat gaming and simulation titles on steam old and new and to do my best to make sure they stand out for those who are looking for them.

Unfortunately, this group comes with 2015's MagzTV branding and as group names cannot be changed and due to an upcoming 2018 branding update I have been working on for the last several months I will need to create a new group to begin the curation process.

Unfortunately Steam not only doesn’t allow name changes but also deleting groups. As such I'll be locking this group immediately and will begin removing users over the following weeks as I have time before exiting the group myself so steam will trigger an auto delete on an empty inactive group. Following that I will announce on social media, Discord and my channel the new group which will exist for the main purpose of curation.
