Howdy, Vec here!

Welcome to Low Poly Styled's Games Release Newsletter, where we recap the recently low poly games released during the previous month. Despite being a slow release month for anticipated titles, several indies have taken the opportunity to shine during a dry spell & we're here to showcase those here.

Before we begin, I'd like to take the time to appreciate the kind personal messages from the people who have approached me in the last several weeks showcasing games they found, sharing mutual love for these types of games & the developers who have reached out to converse for feedback for their upcoming games. I'm more than happy that a silly page like this has been able to connect people to the games they want to see & support the developers who make them in the process.

The schedule for informative reviews will continue as normal until August 10th, shortly there after they will be slowing down as I focus on my final year of university. The newsletters will proceed as normal to the best of my ability, currently need to pin down a proper release schedule for these newsletters, but that'll come with practice.

Happy Low Poly Day!

Howdy, Vec here!

I'm finally settling back down from my long winded university semester & on my summer break for the next few months. During this time, more than 350 informational reviews have been published, several incredible games have been released within the past few weeks alone & we're broken the thousand follower barrier in April 15th which is still insane to me. Thank you all so much for supporting these games, sharing the page & following along this silly journey I embarked on.

To commemorate this occasion, I'm setting up monthly newsletters to help highlight 10 featured games on the curator page that have released during the previous month. Making it easier to view these games, as they come out.

Thank you! I'm glad to see that, despite being the only negative review on the page, it has helped. I knew the dev, Bad Wish Games, was very scummy about their critics, but never knew that they'd silence folks speaking against the game. I was already tired of the dev's limited donation outfits on their ko-fi & downplaying the impact that GenAI played in the development of the game by saying it is just the demo.

I'm not one to leave negative reviews on games that I've not personally played, but this was an exception due to the way that the developer has been doing things.

Your review of "Welcome to Doll Town" is very spot on. The game developer keeps removing posts in the discussion page when people bring things up that are valid criticism.
