Local Area Nemesis is a multiplayer gaming community comprised mainly of CS:GO, LoL, and Dota players, and we are looking to expand!!! We enjoy playing everything under the sun, but especially multiplayer for it's social aspect of course. Welcome!

LAN is a big ass group of gamers & friends, basically. We have a few serious teams that make up just a small portion of the group, but our main thing is having a blast as a group so Friday nights, holidays, days off, etc you'll find us in Team Speak getting rowdy!

: We'll be hosting 10-mans, mini tourneys, and much, much more with help from our owners & sponsors by supporting our players with rewards and other "opportunities for growth" events so keep an eye out for that.

A few of us are former professional cs players, but we love to play casual and just have a good time... so please don't hesitate to hit us up if you just want to have fun or learn 8]

Nostalgia / antics from older versions of the game that were funny:
-wonid's were the thing before steamids... same thing if it was low your account was inherently worth more.
-gun running (guns remained on the ground after each round was over)
-auto-fire pistols (you couldn't click it manually you had to just hold the mouse1 down while it auto shot LOL)
-flash-bang shrapnel (lol.. used to get a lot of silly ass bs shrapnel kills... omg so creative and funny xD)
-gangster chickens (from the old LAN website)
-chicken mod (i can't even remember lol)
-no tk notice (imagine the power... weilding a TMP and rcon.. what you can do as the PHANTOM SHOOTER!!! LOL)
-when pubs were filled with local league players

Also please note the original owners and invite LAN roster was 100% legit and unfortunately fell into the hands of lowlives like DA and Garfu who needed a self esteem boost so they decided to cheat since they couldn't perform otherwise. We at LAN do not condone cheating in any way shape or form!
