Keeping L4D alive ... or at least undead

This announcement is too long for one page please read the entire thing as it contains group infomation and invitation guidelines.

The first week of a group is the most important time. The creator invites those on his friends list who he thinks will be interested. In order for this group to have its intended effect it needs to grow in an exponential pattern friends inviting friends and so on.

However when you invite friends to the group please observe the following criteria.

1: They must own L4D1 they can have both 1 and 2 but if they just have 2 than they won’t get anything out of the group

2: they must still be active and play the game

3: while keeping up to date with popular add-ons is not critical it is preferred otherwise you may not always be able to accept game invites. Death aboard, coald blood, dead city, dead industry, among others.

I will try to set up a public account on my ftp server to act as an add-on repository. I will try to keep it updated and anyone will be able to upload updated add-ons if you find them.

Note this will be a personal ftp server running on a home internet connection please don't abuse it and use l4dmaps or similar site whenever possible.

Be warned all add-ons uploaded to the drop box will be evaluated and scanned for viruses. Your IP will be permanently banned if you upload any malware or if the add-on causes catastrophic game crashes...
