Collection of l4d2 hosts who run 8 player coop with an focus of balance and vanilla styled gameplay; difficult but not spam nor snooze.

Rules:

Be respectful, civil, and constructive. Disagreements are perfectly fine, but insults or offensive behavior are not. Don’t be an ass. If you are found to habitually toe the line on rules, to the detriment of our community ethos, you will be subject to enforcement.,

Avoid complaints about other servers/communities. We don't want to hear "I got banned from XYZ" or "X server sucks".,

No NSFW discussion/images unless properly marked (Spoilered/Blurred). Sexually explicit language, material, illegal content, and generally immoral/unethical content are not allowed. This includes explicit sprays in L4D2.,

No discrimination on the basis of race, sexual orientation, gender, age, or other differentiating factors. No slurs or other charged offensive language.,

Controversial Topics (Religion, Politics, AI, etc.) are strongly discouraged. These topics OFTEN lead to heated discussions, and we strongly recommend you do not engage in them. Server Oaths:

I. Keep in line with vanilla as much as possible.

II. Not nerfing weapons because a few good players will run over the infected. (L4D is an arcade game
where each player is capable of being very strong, the specials are what help prevent solo runs of maps;
so the focus will be making specials lead more into their personal abilities).

III. Anyone is capable of joining, regardless of their setup. (at the very least:
a fresh install should be able to join without any issues, if they see errors or
/outside of special events/ have to download mods than it won't be added).

IV. Changes must feel like they already belong in vanilla L4D. (no charger turning
during charge at very sharp angles or smokers walking away with victims at fast
speeds or jockeys jumping to space with ridden survivors, aka chinese servers.)

V. If a change isn't accepted by most, it can always be changed.

VI. Server is a testing ground for ideas, allowing others (Star,Hen,Gato,Tyda,etc.) to see changes and add their own variant of them if they wish.

Main Focus: Aiming to reinforce the specials as a whole, the all perform OK
in vanilla, so the aim is to tune their abilities even more, but in ways that make
sense.

Also: I will listen to any and all opinions, please voice your thoughts. Can't know it, if you say nothing.

All Melees:

Improved hitrays/detection

Pitchforks can be thrown by holding R + M1.

Pistols:

T1 Pistol:
+ 20% Accuracy, much faster fire rate if downed; less debuffs while downed.

Magnum:
- cannot one shot uncommons
= regular commons die in a single shot
+ 0.85 damage falloff and + 30% DMG

T1s:

Uzi:
+ 5% DMG, + 30% Accuracy

SSMG:
+4% DMG

MP5:
+ 20% DMG
+ total ammo is 700
+ 0.94 Damage falloff

Wooden Shotgun:
+ 23% DMG
- 0.6 damage falloff

Chrome Shotgun:
+ 0.87 damage falloff

Scout Rifle:
+ 14% DMG
+ appears in all locations to expect t1 spawns, including saferooms.

M16:
+ 16% DMG
+ total ammo 450

AK47:
- 12% DMG

SCAR:
+ 20% Accuracy

SG552:
+ 6% DMG

Auto Shotgun:

Hunting Rifle:

Military Rifle:
- 33% mag size

AWP:
+ 80% DMG

M60:
+ 60% DMG
+ reloaded at ammo piles
+ 300 rounds, 150 round box
= functions as support tier 2 LMG
- does not 1 shot commons

Grenade Launcher:
- 8 total rounds
+ DMG vs tank is 1500
- slightly smaller radius
+ reloaded at ammo piles
= functions as crowd control tho limited or anti tank, best for finales.

= Cannot be forced to drop M60.

Chainsaw:
+ general all round improvements for hitrays,dmg,etc.

Laser Sights:
- 20% less accuracy (60% bonus to 40%)

fire ammo:
+ burning specials/bosses is 20 seconds

Fire/Explosive ammo boxes:
+ gives typical special ammo but also refills entire ammo pool.
= 1 use per player
= special ammo amount unchanged.
