Well in an easily said answer, there are various tryout stages so that we can eliminate the people that aren’t dedicated enough. If you don’t have the time to go through a long process, you don’t have time for a team.


▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬[ → STAGE 1 ← ]▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

The applicant will tryout on either Gamurs or over Steam chat. If accepted he/she will be sent a friend request via Steam and put into the "Kyvex Tryouts" group where he/she will then await tryouts. If the player does not join the tryout group when instructed, he/she will be immediately declined. This is a KEY factor in the application stage.


▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬[ → STAGE 2 ← ]▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

If the applicant makes it to this stage, they will then attend a tryout session. The tryout will consist of 3 games in which I (SummitsEdge) and another player will determine the players skill along with the behavior and attitude in which you take the game, the pros and cons of his/her playstyle, and how it interacts with our own. The tryout will also consist of various questions on why you might want to be here, previous experience, and other related questions. At this stage, the member is expected to have the group tag applied in-game. If passed, they will then be put into the "Trial-Member" stage.

In this stage, the player will continue playing with the current team setup, or other selected members if team members are not available. The members in the game will evaluate the member's playstyle and a group decision will be made up upon the role of the individual. At this stage, the member is expected to be in the "Kyvex Team" group, have the "Kyvex" group tag applied in-game as well as team picture set on their Steam profile. If said stage is passed, they will be moved on to the final stage.

In this part of the tryout, the candidate will continue to play competitive matches with members of the Counter-Strike team. At this point in the tryouts, you should feel like a full member. The player has passed nearly all parts of the tryout and now all you have to do is be in this stage for a complete week and you've made it. Congrats!
