IF YOU ARE A BRONY AND YOU JOIN YOU WILL BE KICKED IMMEDIATELY

Bronies have been the object of a lot of ridicule and I know from my own experience that there have been a number of them that have kinda pissed me off. While many would say that the reason they are as disliked as they are is because the fact they like a girls show challenges people masculinity but…….that just doesn’t really ring true. I mean I’m sure there are some cases where that is so but if people remember back in the 90’s a lot of guys used to watch things like Power Puff Girls or Sabrina the Teenage Witch (the live action one not the cartoon) and not many people gave a ♥♥♥♥ about that. No I think the reason most people really hate Bronies is that they make it out to be a FAR bigger deal then is really is…….now mind you I am not accusing all fans of the show of this.
In my encounters I have never seen a fandom that applies peer pressure as much as Bronies so to get other people to join the fandom, and after harassing people to death about the show (which understandably many people including myself don’t like) they don’t get why people get pissed off at them. This turns me to another reason many people hate them and that’s because they so frequently view themselves as a Martyr, many act as though they are some kind of minority that is hounded by the masses……..here is a hint, having a persecution complex because you like a show is stupid. Lastly I will say that I have never seen any other fandom with such an overblown sense of self importance, they think they are single handedly breaking down the walls of gender stereotypes, or throwing their money at countless documentaries on kickstarter about how they are the greatest fandom ever.
Now I know not all bronies are guilty of this and are in it just because they enjoy the show. If that is the case then you need not worry about the things I said here. However if this does hit a little close to home then maybe you need to take a long hard look at yourself and maybe take something I’ve said here on board.
