Timewise I am usually not available Thursday evenings, and it depends during the week on my work schedule (usually working Wednesday & Friday evenings + weekends).
I do also prefer to start at lower levels because I simply just don't enjoy 'le epic' D&D adventures. Something with a focus more on character development and story rather than revisiting dungeons for easy XP and loot. Lower level-focused modules tend to do exactly that.
Far as mods etc, I'm so new I couldn't begin to know, though I'd rather if we were playing an ongoing thing that it start at good ol' level 1
