This is the public chat for the writing contest. There's not a whole lot to say.

The Rules
1. Entries will be accepted on the same day as their prompt and not before or after. If it's tuesday, then there's no more monday submissions, and it's too early to take wednesday submissions.
2. Please submit your entries through pastebin. No word documents or text files. Pastebin. We'll try and keep up with the thread to pick up on any links, but you do also have the option to send it in the group chat.
3. You can write about anything you want, so long as it's KS related. The last contest was based on certain characters, but we want to open it up a bit more so this time it's based on setting -- or more specifically, times of day.
3a. Yes, that means you can write about any character, or any number of characters. Main girls, side girls, tertiary girls, and even the guys like Mutou and Kenji. Please avoid original characters, though.

Now that we have that out of the way, here are the writing prompts. They're based on times of day, although that's not a strict rule. For example, if you wrote a story about Kenji waking up at five in the afternoon and referring to it as morning according to his twisted timeframe, that would work. It's more of a theme.
7/21: Morning
7/22: Afternoon
7/23: Evening
7/24: Night
7/25: Wild Card! Pick a holiday of your choice and write a story set during that holiday.

After extensive discussion and flip-flopping, all of the judges have agreed not to do prizes, just like the last writing contest. We feel that it would cause more trouble than it would mitigate, and that introducing prizes into the mix would complicate things. We want your writing to be based solely on inspiration, rather than on some kind of potential reward.
