About the group

This group is related to the IndieJosh channel, but it works as a general giveaway group. Following the channel is not required.

Entry and Membership

To join, you must have at least level 1 on SteamGifts, at least 1 giveaway created in the last 2 years, a minimum site ratio of 1:50 (meaning for every 50 games won, at least 1 must have been given away), and good behavior on the platform. These requirements exist to avoid bots and professional leechers, so don’t request access if you don’t meet them.

The group is global and anyone can join, but the language used inside the group must be English.

To remain in the group, you must maintain a minimum group ratio of -300 (warn) and -400 (kick), checked weekly, with a 1-week grace period to fix any issues. In addition, being inactive for 3 months without participating or creating giveaways will result in removal.

Giveaway Rules

Creating giveaways is not mandatory and there is no contribution requirement. All giveaways must last between 3 days and 1 week. Big or AAA games can have longer durations, but must last at least 1 week. You may include this group in multi-group giveaways as long as the game follows this group’s rules and there is no conflict with the other group.

If a key is region-locked, the giveaway must be correctly configured for the regions where it can be activated, and the description must clearly state which countries or regions are valid.

If a key is invalid, the creator has up to 7 days to resolve the issue. If it cannot be resolved, the winner must allow the giveaway to be deleted. Abusing this rule (frequent invalid keys) will result in an immediate kick, so make sure the key is valid before creating the giveaway, including region checks.

Game and Behavior Rules

To maintain the group’s quality, it is not allowed to give away inflated games or “fake 50P” games (same thing), pornographic games, or “no value” games. The only exception for “no value” games is if they have very positive reviews on Steam.

In general, avoid games with mixed or negative reviews. This will not result in punishment, but it is strongly recommended.

Regarding behavior, treat everyone with respect and, if you win a giveaway, say thank you. This is not strictly enforced, but it’s expected to keep a good environment.

General

Staff may decide on cases not covered by the rules. The rules can be changed at any time, and by joining the group, you agree to everything above.
