The Next Beta

With the faction wars plugin, we can do so much more. We can have sub-teams (squads), customized colors so we know who's who in a faction race, and actually own and defend a base of operations. The better communication will make setting up races much easier, and the GUI will help me and other officials keep track of who's in the faction.


I was going to hold a vote for the tracks we will use, but I think I may change that idea. I'm likely going to choose one track for each style of racing; On road, offroad, drift (tight track), and a long, all encompassing endurance race. Then, if you have a better track that what I've selected, present it to me and I'll reconsider that track.

The endurance race will likely go from the satellite bowl in the bottom left of the map to a point in the cities, and will have no clear path, only a few checkpoints and the goal of finishing in the same vehicle you began in. I may change my mind on how this race will work though.


I will have the events of the beta planned out in the calender on this steam page. Things like fun races, faction races, Rally of Panau, and anything else we want to do. I live in NJ, so the times will be most convenient for those in Eastern USA.
