Isle of the Old Gods is a Heavy RP server with a rich and ongoing story, Trade post with a gold coin based economy that grows organically from the items brought in for trade/sale and active GM’s that host events 3-4 times a week

Our Lore is based in a low magic settling; this includes witches, curses, evil talismans and amulets, shape shifters etc.

These roles get played out initally by our Gm's, who are all experienced Roleplayers spanning a variety of different games (Arma 3, TSW, ARK, WoW).

The idea is to give the world a sense of actually being alive by having you, the player, participate in events that will shape outcomes on the server.

The lore is ever expanding and growing; we start with a concept that these islands are a form of purgatory and that the people here are all trying to figure out what caused them to wind up here.

This island..

There are untold riches here..iron, gold, silver, gems

The land is beautiful; mountains, valleys, plentiful trees and in the water the fish are bountiful

But there is also darkness...things that live in the shadows and transcend our understanding of humanity; things that look human..but aren't

The rift between reality, between good and evil is blurred..healers who mend wounds and bring people back from the dead, witches with poisonous concoctions, brigands, murderers, peasants and knights all spread across the landscape..all trying to figure how they ended up here and how they can get back..or if there is anything to go back to at all

This island exists..

Over 100 years ago there had been Duke banished there as punishment for crimes he committed..never to know that his beloved has passed away..he continues to toil here, exploiting the land and people who unfortunately arrive at this island by fate or some other sinister force

Is inescapable..

I have already tried to take take my life....and found myself back here
