60 tick L4D2 Server. 8 Players coop.

Our philosophy is QoL enhancements that make the game more fun, while remaining true to L4D2. This is done mostly through bug fixes and exploit patches. We increased spawns for zombies and they scale with players. Some weapons have also been lightly tweaked for balance. We respect the base game, but have some preferences it doesn't provide. The server is lightly modded, if you disagree, you've never played in a heavily modded server.

Linking the list of custom maps that are on the server. I'll update this as more are added/removed. Some might be on the server but not this list, usually that's because it's being tested to see if it worked properly. I also disable some since they cause scripting issues until people want to play them.

There's an issue with Steam authentication that affects larger maps. To solve this, you can connect to the server and vote on the custom map via !chmap command. The server is set up to be automatically public though. If you want to play a private game please DM me or contact me through discord and I can make the server private for you for the session.

Small update but the server by default will place you into matchmaking if you join through the steam group server and nobody is playing. Also feel free to join in any games in progress. Sometimes they are private games for custom maps that groups will matchmake, but if they don't ask you to leave just stay and play. By default the server is meant to have anyone in the group join when they feel like playing.

Hey everyone, please check the Custom maps announcements if you want to play on custom campaigns and vote on them. Some maps get a No Steam Logon error if you matchmake into it. This will solve the issue https://v1.steam.hlxgame.cc/groups/IgnisPyroEmporeum/announcements/detail/510732485715297022
