For the discussion of science and philosophy

It is strangely common for those belonging to the rare breed
whom have such interest in the sciences and philosophy that
they will happily discuss questions in either field for
hours on end, to meet in completely unrealted places: places
who's general consituency are far removed from those with such
interests. This, however, does nothing to curtail the discussion
that inevitably ensues when such people meet in pleasent surprise.

This group is intended to serve as a conduit for allegiance based on
such intellectual interests, rather than arbitrary subjects and fanships.
Though such topics will inevitably arise in light conversation or
even in gedanken experiments, they are far from the central unifying
aspect.

The hope is that this group will provide an affiliation and chatroom
for those interested in science and philosophy where we may discuss
topics (such as relativity) at length without interruption or much in the
way of random, unnecessary tangents.
