[ORP] IMMERSE ARK

Immerse is a PVP server designed to strike the perfect balance between official and un-official. With tame speeds of 20x, XP multiplier of 10x and harvesting at 8x, you can accomplish more but still feel that sense of achievement.

This server is a PVP server with active admins. We have some excellent mods and will be running regular events that are designed to get people fighting! And competing!

PVP rules include:
NO OFFLINE RAIDING. We have a steam group so you can tell who is online and the ORP mod enabled.

Frowned upon destruction of a whole base, please leave enough for rebuilding.

No killing of passive dinosaurs

Some events planned:
1. Admin base raid (admin will build a base and defences, which will contain a well stocked vault! Tribes will then compete over a set period to raid the base. Just watch out for the other tribes!)
2. Admin base capture (rare event, a base will be built in a high yield strategic position. If your tribe can get inside you win it!)
3. Taming event (admin will spawn high level and bespokely coloured dinosaur across the map, for a weekend of taming for tribes. But again, watch out for other tribes!)

The idea behind using the Shigo Islands map was that its original and not many servers have it therefore reaching a more Niche target of players. It's intended for players who may want to come check out the map before installing it themselves, as well as the general player base. Also we have show player on map turned off, firstly to make it worthwhile to go through the levelling process and get the GPS, and also it makes it a bit more realistic as this way you have to do a lot more exploring in order to figure out where you are. If you're struggling with the location of your base on the map, I will happily log in and let you know where it is.

Hey. Any thoughts of changing map to the original and enable "show player on map" ? I think this would make more people joining the server. I think the settings are good and server is running without any high ping. I would be glad to stay. I just think many ppl stay away because of the map.
