World Of Rust

WOR is a Vanilla+ server with 1.5x Gather rate and customised Stacksizes.
We feel this retains enough of the vanilla experience and adds a little bit more flexibility for players. In addition you have an active admin and a zero tolerance towards players suspected of cheating or glitching -and we keep a very close eye on the number of game violations addressed to players steam ID. The server is updated weekly along with the Dev cycle - there is no waiting 2 or 3 hours after a wipe like you would with other servers, waiting for an admin to come online. So come in, play as you want and enjoy our simple no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ server where every player is appreciated. Thank you.

Goodmorning folks, its been a while!

After much thought the owner has decided to employ the Oxide mod onto the server to offer some small tweaks that we think will give players a little bit more flexibility. In addition to our customised stackizes we now have a 1.5x gather rate. We feel this offers a similar vanilla challenge with a little bit more help for solo and casual players. The server will be updated after the Dev wipe tonight promptly, and we are looking forward to the new Component All system, the new workshop factory and a host of exciting new features!

The owner is a player like you who just wants to create a 'safe haven' for players who just want to play the game and get on with it. After having seen numerous instances of player/admin/mod abuse in other servers - and some official third party servers - (who shall not be named) we are, frankly, sick and disgusted at the scope of some of the advantages that have been taken up and dished out by unscrupulous individuals who are put in charge of policing the integrity of the server.

It is in this spirit that we offer you a simple, no frills (well, not much) server which allows you to come and play safe in the knowledge that we hate cheaters and abusers just as much as you. We keep an eye on each players game violations and take action accordingly.

We appreciate each single player that comes onto the server, heck we wouldnt keep the server running without you guys! We are not professional mod hosters, we are normal guys with day jobs who like to come home and chill out, maybe with a beer or two :D That being said, we are very experienced with the Oxide plugin system and can implement plugins very easily and quickly, so if there is something that you players would like to see in a next update, please drop the owner a message in the steam group.

Let me finish my saying we are all very excited for the dev update tonight, and cant wait to get in the game and start all over fresh. We salute all our players and look forward to seeing you again in the World of Rust.

Wipe Day !

Hello all,

So its wipe day again. We will be moving to a new map and also decreasing the size back to the default 4k size as the 6k was just too big. This should make things a bit more 'cosy' for our players and increase player interaction.

Server has been down periodically tonight whilst I was changing our BAT file (startup configuration) I have put in some additional server info, and knocked up a nicer server header image to welcome all our players into the new post wipe rust experience!

Hi guys, just a quick heads up if you dont know. Expected forced wipe tomorrow Thursday 14th July. Along with XP changes and fixes, we will see the improved combat mechanics and increased performance related fixes. Also, ELF has moved the server onto a new engine which reduces lag to almost zero, and comes with a massive boost in framerates and fidelity. The IP has changed so the server wont appear in your Rust history anymore, so please see the new IP below, or search World of Rust. Thank you. Joe and ELF.
