The Aftermath Roleplay

Hello and welcome to the Steam Community profile of Green-Grounds.

We're a relatively new and small community, aiming to provide serious, but relaxed roleplay to whoever that might wish it.
We offer a roleplay scenario known as "Aftermath RP" which is set where Episode 2 left off -


Eli Vance is dead, the resistance in shambles.
The Super Portal planned by the Union to deliver reinforcements was closed, leaving them scattered and un-organised.
City 18 and the remaining capitals of the Union are in ruin, the outskirts of the cities now the only areas that provide live-able conditions.
In short - The Resistance won the fight, but not exactly in the way they had imagined.
Now, both citizens and resistance fighters have to live off whatever the wastelands can provide, right from building materials to food.

As a citizen, your life is drasticly changed from the opressive rule of the Union. Your goal is still survival, with the difference being you are now completely on your own. You have to find your own tools, materials and food. Loners and tiny groups of citizens drift around the wasteland, not knowing where to settle down. Some may be friendly and help you, others might have more sinister ideas..

As the Resistance, your job is to protect what little civilians that's left coming from the cities, whilst still trying to rebuild.
As the Union's rule had disappeared, the Resistance moved in quickly and seized control, becoming the Earth's first human governing body since the 7 hour war.
They now occupy whatever housing they can, organising the citizens and fighters into what can be considered a smaller army, training them to both fight and build.

The Universal Union, cut off from their main-world and stranded on this planet, has taken to the offensive.
Now consisting of only die-hard fanatics, trans-human soldiers and synthethics, their collected hate for humanity is no longer hidden behind propaganda and City Administrators.
They understand they're stranded here, cut off from reinforcements and communications, and thus have taken guerilla tactics to the extreme, launching smaller raid operations against the Resistance whenever they could afford it.
Because of their disorganised state, whenever a division raids a Resistance encampment, they make sure to amputate the once that put up a fight, with the unarmed citizens having been spotted as being dragged away, screaming, only to re-appear later amidst their ranks..

Overall, as a person stuck in the Aftermath of this world, your goal is to survive.
How you do so, is your own choice..
