Pallisade walls can be jumped over using pounce ability, to combat this dig a trench all the way around and don't use wooden gatehouse, best defence though is stone walls.

Also be aware your stuff is not nessisary safe in a locked house there is a glitch that lets people get through the walls, so use the normal warehouses for storing items! Its under the masonry tree.
