Small GM Announcement

Hi all, empress veyr here, one year and two months ago I was given ownership of Gold Miners, in that time I tried my best to do what I felt was right. I pushed for certain rule changes such as admins/mods not being able to review their own times. I tried to create events and push to increase the group size such as the duo tournament we had recently. Maybe I pushed myself too hard in the end as all this time, eitherway; I don’t want Gold Miners to rot away into a pit of despair so I've officially given everything back to a (very) old friend of ours; Skyheart.

I had fun ruling over everyone but it's truly time to put my dictator reign to a halt. I no longer have the passion or desire for this game like I used to in the past two years that I was admin.

I hope you look back on my time within the community with fondness, and I hope the future is just as pleasant for you all. I hope Skyheart can once again keep the fire alight within the community.

I don't want to say much more so I'm going to leave it here. Thanks everyone, I hope you all enjoy your time with this game while you still can.

Player of the Month- Envyy

This months’ player of the month is none other than Envyy!!

Envyy’s time here comes from nostalgia of playing this game on xbox years ago and having a lot of fun memories doing split-screen with friends. Shortly after returning he got into mall survival, from there he ended up meeting gris (scream) who got him his first 30, and then went on to show him the different maps and strats to each.

After some time, he met a juggernaut of a mall player (blakanuse) who impressed Envyy and helped him grow as a player, even inviting him to gold miners. Envyy had developed a goal of getting a 100+ min time at this point, and his circle expanded quickly befriending players such as ZokkuZ, py, and Joshman KB.

His goal had become accomplished alongside his new friends, getting his first 100 and many to follow. As of this post he has 240+ CS Junkyard, 171 Terminal (World Record) , and 176 on Bus Depot (Drains and Sugar Mill he also has 100 done!). Over time he’s just been growing as a player and having a great time. :)

Hi. I'm one of the original admins. FYI - My Steam Profile got highjacked and a bunch of friends were Blocked/Unfriended, probably those who suspected something. I foolishly used the Steam QR to "vote" for something. Ok, to leave me blocked/unfriended as I'm not active in Steam co-op games. Sorry for any problems anyone might have had because of this.
