Changing the way you play Guncraft

Guncraft is dead. We should now move on...

Guys, TF is up, it's ya boi Focal Flare, new owner of G-Clan after the former owner left. This will be the ever last announcement regarding Guncraft, and it's not a good one either.

There's not really much of a good way to put this without putting people into tears or putting frowns on their faces, and there's not really any other tone I could put this in as this might be a rant at the same time. I know this is a late announcement since I completely forgot all about this group I was given ownership to, but it has came to the conclusion that Guncraft is overall dead...............forever.

Well, of course the game didn't shut down. If it did, the developers, especially Andy (aka thezmaniac or ZMan), would've had stated this either before or after he left Exato Games Studios/EGS If you don't believe me up to any extent when I said that, then the man himself said it in this topic on the EGS forums page.[www.exatogames.com] I'm saying that this game is dead because the OVERALL player base went from people playing the game and having one hell of a good time to a graveyard. I do not remember the exact reason why the player base nulled out, but my guess was that the game didn't really get that much updates or fixes, so there were many things wrong with it (although ZMan leaving EGS might've contributed to this.

Oh yeah, talk about that, I did like the game because it was fun and addicting. I used to play it all the time, especially with those of such clans like Freelancer and UNiT, which probably ruled the game (trust me, I honestly enjoyed getting my ass slapped by those clan members). I liked that it allows you to make your own prefabs and weapons however you want. Hell, you can make even the STUPIDEST weapon that can spam someone with bullets due to the shenanigans it has. Overall, this game did have the potential of becoming a good game. But........as I said, this game has its cons. one of them, which I think every FPS game should have, is the presence of bots. Yes, those should've been in the game to start with. Unfortunately, as Redcorpian stated to me in a Guncraft Steam topic:

sorry if this bursts your bubble, but bots have been confirmed to be too hard by the devs.

Well you can set their difficulty to easy, medium, or hard.
These even help since every server lacks players

as in, too hard to DEVELOP.
xD but yeah, if we did get them, I would want that too.

Alright, I'll admit it. I'm not an actual game developer since I don't make everything for my games from complete scratch, but I mean, if the developers actually stated this, they could've at least tried something instead of making the excuse of bots being

Now, don't get me wrong, I tend to play against bots in any game instead of actual players since I sometimes don't feel comfortable to play around competitive players putting pressure on me for x hours straight. That's why I would want bots to fill the player slots in servers until a player joins in place of them.

I did also mention the community in my review of this game, which is on the store page of this game. Most of the community has been the same as it has been compared to nowadays that I've been playing Phantom Forces and Bad Business on ROBLOX. Remember in those games where you would get votekicked by toxic players for no reason? Well, it's different, but the same concept. Instead of manually calling a votekick, you get KICKED and/or BANNED from servers by those toxic players. They claim to have "rules," but what rules and when did the developers even implement the ability to add rules to our servers?

There were several bugs with the game, including frequent crashes every time you join/start a match, or when you start the game up before you even get to the main menu.

I have. They mentioned that Blockstorm has taken both the crown and throne of Guncraft of the bloodline. Will I ever return to Guncraft? Not even for a second. Also, I completely forgot about Blockstorm, and it'll feel weird coming back to it (no, I don't hate that game).

Well, as I said, this game does have the potential of a good game. I can't really say anything about the execution. All I have to say was that it started from the top where a lot of players were playing it. Now there's not even a peep... I enjoyed its last moments, but it all had to come down to this. As I said, I'm not coming back to this game at all, and because of that, it would be no surprise that someone is actually making a continuation of this game (just like Zeblote made a "sequel" to Eric "Badspot" Hartman's game Blockland called Brickadia).
