Señora Amor was born in Argentina, where she received most of her education. In 2007, she moved with her family to the US, when she joined the World Languages program at Loudoun County Public Schools. She taught Spanish (SAMS) at Mercer Middle School from 2007 to 2012. During those years she was also part of the Curriculum Development team of the SAMS program.

Señora Amor earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Bilingual Education, with a specialization in Younger Learners, and a Bachelor’s Degree in ESL from the Instituto del Profesorado Santa Catalina in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She also earned a Master’s in Art History from Universidad Nacional de La Plata, in Argentina, and took post graduate classes in International Marketing from UNLP / Export Akademie Baden Wurtemberg.

Señora Amor has a deep interest in the study of the Art, History and Languages of different cultures. She has been a Professor of Art History, World History and Semiotics at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, and Saint Catherine’s College in Argentina. She later turned her teaching interest towards younger students, and taught ESL and IB World History.

Guided by her interest in the psychological aspects of language learning processes, Señora Amor recently got an AD in Psychology.

Prior to turning to full time teaching, Señora Amor worked for many years in the International Finances Department of BPBA, the second largest bank in Argentina
